Tony Brown interview, page 14
“Whatever the name, or classification of the music, whether it's ska or early rock and roll, jazz or classical music, it still has to maintain the same element of quality that can appeal to people, and communicate a message, which is our most important underlying fact, as opposed to what it's called from one country to the next.”

Ian Page, Secret Affair, page 9
“Bauhaus brought over their own equipment for this tour. The electronic generators require a special converter, which might have caused problems for club owners. But it worked wonderfully each of the three shows I saw. Daniel Ash, on guitar, did incredible things to get the sounds that set the mood. Quite an accomplished musician.”
